For Employers

Recruitment Process & Employer Terms

How we handle your vacancy, what we need from your company, and the terms of our recruitment partnership.

The Placement Spot provides structured recruitment and staffing support for organizations looking for reliable and timely talent acquisition. Our approach focuses on understanding your manpower requirements, sourcing relevant profiles, screening candidates and coordinating the recruitment process through joining.

How Our Recruitment Process Works

  1. Step 1: Requirement Discussion

Share your vacancy, job profile, qualifications, experience, location, compensation details and hiring timeline with our recruitment team.

  2. Step 2: Candidate Sourcing

Our team sources relevant candidates through our recruitment network, database, references, job portals and other suitable channels.

  3. Step 3: Screening & Shortlisting

We review candidate profiles against the requirements shared by the Client and shortlist relevant candidates.

  4. Step 4: The Placement Spot Initial Candidate Assessment

Before presenting candidates to the Client, our recruitment team conducts an initial candidate assessment/interview to understand suitability, communication, experience and role alignment.

  5. Step 5: Profile Submission

Candidates who meet the required criteria are shortlisted and their relevant profiles are shared with the Client.

  6. Step 6: Client Interview & Selection

The Client interviews and evaluates shortlisted candidates and retains the final authority to select, reject, negotiate with and employ the candidate.

  7. Step 7: Joining & Follow-Up

Our team coordinates candidate communication and follows up through selection, offer and joining.

Candidate Introduction Protection & Replacement Policy

The Placement Spot’s recruitment terms include two separate protections: a 12-month Candidate Introduction Protection, counted from the date a candidate is first introduced or submitted, and a 90-day Replacement Support period, counted from the date a placed candidate joins.

12 MonthsCandidate Introduction ProtectionCounted from the date of first introduction or submission.
90 DaysReplacement SupportCounted from the placed candidate’s date of joining.

12-Month Candidate Introduction Protection

  • Any candidate introduced, sourced, screened, or submitted by The Placement Spot shall remain protected under The Placement Spot’s candidate introduction protection for a period of 12 months from the date of first introduction or submission.
  • The 12-month protection period is counted from the candidate’s first introduction or submission date.
  • Candidate introduction may be established through documented records such as email, resume submission, recruitment-system records, WhatsApp communication or dated interview coordination.

Candidates not selected initially

  • If the Client initially rejects, does not select, postpones, or decides not to proceed with an Introduced Candidate, the candidate remains a Protected Candidate for the remainder of the 12-month protection period.
  • If, within the 12-month protection period, the Client later reconsiders, contacts, interviews, selects, hires, engages or appoints the same candidate, the candidate shall continue to be treated as an Introduced Candidate under The Placement Spot’s recruitment terms, because the original introduction or submission was made by The Placement Spot.
  • An initial rejection or non-selection does not end the Candidate Introduction Protection. The protection cannot be avoided by initially declining a candidate and later hiring or engaging the same candidate during the 12-month protection period.

Direct and indirect hiring or engagement

The Candidate Introduction Protection applies whether a Protected Candidate is subsequently hired or engaged:

  • Directly by the Client
  • Indirectly through another person or entity
  • Through another recruitment channel
  • Through another recruitment agency
  • Through a group company or associated entity of the Client, where applicable

This protects the introduction made by The Placement Spot from being circumvented.

Candidate Introduction Protection relates to the introduction or submission made by The Placement Spot. The Client retains the final authority to interview, assess, select, reject, negotiate with and hire candidates, and The Placement Spot does not guarantee that a Client will select or hire a particular candidate.

90-Day Replacement Support

Where a placed candidate voluntarily resigns within 90 days from the date of joining, The Placement Spot will provide a suitable replacement candidate for the same or substantially similar role without an additional recruitment fee for the replacement, subject to the applicable replacement conditions and exclusions.

Replacement conditions

  • The replacement candidate will be for the same or a substantially similar role.
  • The replacement candidate will meet reasonably similar or equivalent qualification and experience requirements.
  • One replacement support is provided under this policy.
  • Reasonable Client cooperation and timely information are required for replacement support.

Replacement support does not apply where the candidate leaves because of circumstances attributable to the Client or other excluded situations, such as:
