The terms for using The Placement Spot website and its job listings, applications and recruitment services, for candidates, employers and visitors.

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website theplacementspot.in and the job listings, application forms and recruitment and placement services offered through it by The Placement Spot (“we”, “us”, “our”), a recruitment consultancy based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

These Terms apply to all visitors, job seekers (“candidates”) and employers or clients. For employers, our recruitment relationship is also governed by our recruitment policies — Recruitment Terms & Conditions, Client Responsibilities & Partnership Terms, Professional Fees & Payment Terms and Candidate Protection & Replacement Policy — and by any Recruitment Proposal or Agreement agreed with us. If there is a conflict, that policy or agreement applies to the recruitment engagement.

2. Using Our Website

You may use our website to learn about our services, browse job openings, apply for jobs, share hiring requirements and contact us. You agree to use the website lawfully and only for these purposes. We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time without notice.

3. Job Listings and Job Information

  • Job openings on our website are based on information provided by employers or prepared by our team. We make reasonable efforts to keep job details accurate and up to date.
  • Details such as salary, location, working hours, experience requirements and number of openings are provided for guidance and may change. The final terms of any job are those confirmed by the employer at the time of the offer.
  • A listing may be filled, changed or closed at any time. Closed positions are marked as closed on the website.
  • Jobs submitted through our “Post a Job” form are reviewed before they are published, and we may decline or edit a submission.

4. Applications and the Recruitment Process

  • When you apply for a job or share your profile with us, you authorise us to review your details and share your profile and resume with employers for suitable opportunities, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Our team reviews applications and contacts shortlisted candidates. We may not be able to respond to every application individually.

5. Candidate Responsibilities

If you are a candidate, you agree to:

  • provide true, accurate and complete information about your identity, education, experience, skills and current salary;
  • keep your contact details up to date and respond to interview and joining communication in good time;
  • attend scheduled interviews, or inform us as early as possible if you cannot;
  • behave professionally with employers and with our team;
  • not submit documents or information that are false, misleading or belong to someone else.

We may stop considering a candidate for opportunities if information provided is found to be false or misleading.

6. Employer and Client Responsibilities

If you are an employer or client, you agree to provide complete and accurate vacancy details, to post only genuine and lawful job openings, and to give timely feedback on candidates and interviews. Your detailed responsibilities, the candidate protection period, confidentiality, non-circumvention and commercial terms are set out in our Client Responsibilities & Partnership Terms and Recruitment Terms & Conditions. Please refer to the applicable Recruitment Proposal/Agreement for the complete commercial terms.

7. Interviews and Selection

We help coordinate interviews and communication between candidates and employers. Interviews, assessments, selection, job offers, salary, joining dates and all employment terms are decided by the employer. The employment relationship is between the candidate and the employer.

8. No Guarantee of Employment

We work to connect candidates with suitable opportunities, but we do not guarantee that any candidate will be shortlisted, interviewed, selected or employed, or that any employer will find a suitable candidate within a particular time. Any replacement support for employers applies only as set out in our Candidate Protection & Replacement Policy and the applicable agreement.

9. Employer and Third-Party Decisions

We are not responsible for the decisions, actions, workplace conditions or employment practices of employers, or of candidates once they have joined an employer. We are also not responsible for any offer, payment or arrangement made directly between a candidate and an employer, or with anyone who is not The Placement Spot.

10. Website Content and Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, the The Placement Spot name and logo, graphics and design, belongs to The Placement Spot or is used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or republish our content, logo or job listings for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Prohibited Use

You must not:

  • submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, or impersonate any person or company;
  • post fake, misleading or unlawful job openings, or use our website to collect candidates’ personal data for any other purpose;
  • send spam, or use automated tools to copy (“scrape”) job listings or content from the website;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its administration area, or interfere with its security or operation;
  • upload files containing viruses or other harmful code;
  • use the website in any way that breaks applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

Our website and its content are provided “as is” for general information. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Placement Spot is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your use of the website, reliance on job information, hiring or employment decisions, or interruptions or errors on the website. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Our website contains links to other websites and services, such as Google Maps, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Using them is subject to their own terms and policies.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. By continuing to use the website after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
